Free Freestyle - Sensor Error

pacovillar69's profile photo   09/16/2016 9:28 a.m.

At the moment the 3 that have come out frog to me have fossing them without problems and I have about 45 sensors, always "ignoring" some small detail about the area or the way of placement of the sensor and if anyone has given me a little further valuesFrom the capillary, right now with the Glimp that you can calibrate you from the step without problems ... for the moment the free serves me for what I want but I know that sooner rather than later I will be a user of Guardian Connect of Medtronic or the Dexcom whenImprove the size and duration of the transmitter unless Freestyle draws a continuous meter with alarms, which I doubt very much because with this they are being made of gold and if it works well for them to take out alarms or improvement.

I have replaced me all, about 5 in a year and a half but this last 6 pack is quite bad.It measures very remote, above 100 I have to add about 30 more and between 70 and 90 I add 20 approx. It is happening in the 5 that I have of the shipment that expires on September 30.
With Glimp I solve it but his thing is that measure well that they are not free.

I see it a quite remote reading to keep them, @"ruthbia".I would call Abbott and comment (although they still put some paste), but explain that the differences with stable glucose must be minor, not 30 mg/dl, that you understand this, that you have used many sensors, etc... Surely, insisting that way, they replace that sensor.
After returning to the arm (and after the buttock experience, which did not go well), I went again, with differences of just 5-10 mg/dl (and many times the same capillary as Free).

The latter in the arm in high values is giving me differences of 40 - 50 mg /dl, curiously in objective values it is going quite well, but I still use Glimp and another application that I just downloaded free scan that also gives me more valuesreliable than the official application.

For the only sensor that I called for values away from the free with the capillary, they put me a thousand pegas and I had to send the statistics of I do not know how many days of measures and that if they entered into the range, that if Patatín, that if Patatan in the endI hung the phone ... Conclusion, for the adhesive and adhesion failures and for scanning errors they change them practically without problems but for values remote with the capillary everything is problems.

I will touch wood, but so far, to me both in the arm and in the buttock, the values come out practically the same sensor and capillary. It is also true that when, I have it above 220 the thing changes, and there are variations around 30. times ..
And I agree, it is best to say that you have taken off and point!
Sorry for my ignorance, so far I use the free apparatus, and little else.I understand that the glymp or free scan, are applications for mobile ... but what I do not see clear, is what if sometimes you measure yourself with the glucometer and others with the mobile .... when passing the data to the computer and downloading them??That must be a bit straight, I don't?

I measure myself with everything.Glucometer and with two mobile app.So I can pass the data to the Abbott cloud for my endo.

I will not ask for change of sensors because it is the same failure throughout the lot.It is a manufacturing problem, I have reviewed the codes.I know they are 30 more and ready

I bought the Free Freestile on 09-14-2017 and four days later I had a blow, nothing serious, against the frame of a door. The sensor stopped working immediately.I called Abbott, saying exactly what had happened to me and they replied that they lamented my problem and that they did not answer since the damage occurred by a blow, now I know that I should have told them that it simply stopped working.I argued that it was the first time that I used the product and that it seemed like a lousy service, since there is no way to know that it will respond in this way against minimal impacts. No satisfactory answer, I simply lost my money. The product is good, but very fragile.
I recommend very carefully evaluating your purchase, I am already considered as lost money.Unfortunate experience.

I have changed the reader twice because he went crazy and gave me readings of August 2020 and then passed it to 2018, a number. They changed it to me without problem, instead with the sensors if I have had them, even if they take off they have changed them, other times for any bullshit they change it to you.It is true, it depends on who you talk to.

My name is Mario and I live in Uruguay, 2 months ago I bought the Free Style Free Labott Style
I'm really very frustrated with this device due
to have never given me a correct measurement having differences that vary between 70a90% with blood measurement
I have claimed Abott Laboratory and they after receiving
All measurements say that the device is fine and that they will not change it
It seems to me a lack of total seriousness and I would like to receive your comments
Greetings Atte.Mario

I really have a little use it continuously, since February of this year, I had used it but sporadically, and the truth is that I imagine that since they changed the adhesive, it has not even detached me even with friction that I haveI had, it is more hard to take it off when I have to change it, let's touch wood. Both in gluteo and arm, it measures me well, provided that the blood glucose is more or less stable, if not, it does vary but they already tell you, and well, the first day it can vary something else, the rest is usually quiteAccording to the capillary, with 6-8 of difference as much, and sometimes almost nailed.

A little thing: for the most newbies, what is Glimp?, Is an application of the mobile imagination but works with Miao or what?Because if it is more accurate I would be interested.

Yes, it is an app that measures Abbott's reader and connects with Miau Miau and with more platforms. It is very good because you can add your capillary values and she performs a better approximation of the ABBOTT sensor correcting values.

How many sensors have you not reliable?Have you changed them?
I am still thinking if they are worth it ..

Here I send you the ABBOTT response, of Freestyle 2 sensors, I have proven that for 2 days they give erroneous values, which they admit by phone, Abbott's response, which respond in English says that the first day the sensor is not reliable,Is it worth buying?: 300px;

According to the laboratory for 2 days the reader Abbott Freestyle 2, gives erroneous values, that more than 50 days a year erroneous, that is to say that the year is equivalent to 3 or 4 sensors without efficiency, plus those that come out defective
Economically, there are more than € 200 lost a year due to ABBOTT problems

good morning.

I have a freestylelibre reader of the ABBOT house and so far it has been working well, but this morning I am giving me a mistake and I do not know what the problem may be, if the device has been spoiled or what.

The message in question is a sensor error.Glucose reading not available in ten minutes, try again ...

This message had appeared before me, but I left once, you left it those ten minutes and then it worked, but in this case it is already going for four times that appears and does not read the levels.

I have contacted the house by email but they will respond late and never.

Is there anyone who uses this device and has happened to you?

Thank you!

Link style = "max-width: 300px; height;>
.

That error has happened to me many times, Abbott replies that it is because blood glucose in those 10 minutes is varying and the sensor cannot measure it, the laboratory response does not convince me
The product is not yet, in my 100% well developed opinion, it gives many problems, for the price, and they always have answers to blame the customer <img alt = "" class = "IMG-Fluid MB-3" SRC = "https: //www.diabetesforo.com/uploads/editor/CV/02qkxp8jfw6j.jp "style =" max-width: 300px;
