Well I look at 100% identified with most of the comments of this thread.
My doses are 21 HS 20 of Lantus and 09.00 14 and I arrived relatively well in the afternoon.

According to my endo if 70 % of the day we are with acceptable values is the important thing in the long term.
What is true is that this insulin does not last 24 hours and the afternoons rises glycemia even without eating anything.
Options are not many.
Continue with her to correct quickly or exercise in the afternoon Aerobico walk running etc. This option is the best in my personal case.
Toujeo with this has been fatal fatal.
Treshiba the endo does not want to prescribe it.

It is not that it is passed to type 1, because type 1 is an autoimmune disease, but over time the pancreas is exhausted and it is normal to need external insulin.

DM 2 con páncreas agotado desde diciembre 2020. 51 años entonces.
HG diciembre 2020: 15.9. Última HG: julio 2024 5.8
Abasaglar 9 unidades. Metformina, 1000/0/1000. Humalog junior: 2 unid en desayuno y luego en función de lo que coma.
