What kind of diabetes could you have?

If I don't know why I think of type 2 for having found a bit high controls for 1 year, fasting 110 or 115, someday that I went to approach to 200, but in 1 year go from that to need insulin yes orYes or shoot at almost 300. I did not believe it and I went privately to an endocrine who told me that there are various theories.
According to him, our body attacks the pancreas continuously and is weakening it over the years, in its last line, we start with more or less high values, until a day comes that there is no longer insulin and we start with the symptoms: urinate, eat a lotand drink a lot of water ....
It happened to me at Christmas 2014 and I did not go to the emergency room until the end of January 2015, with 41 years.They told me that it is quite rare although there are more and more cases.I was diagnosed with Mellitus 1 for the antibodies, but by continuing with honeymoon 5 years later, now they change it to Lada.
I use little insulin according to my endocrine, although every year that passes I need more to be inside the thresholds.

I agree with what @ruthbia tells you, putting you rapidly corrections only when you reach 250, it does not seem adequate.Imagine that you stay all night in 200. Are you not going to do anything?
I think you must follow with you the same procedure and protocol that your child carries.Your great advantage is that you know how to count rations and how insulins work.That is a great advantage.But apply what you know!
