@milagros: If blood glucose rises at 3 or 4 hours after having eaten you may have ingested too many proteins or fats or that you lack slow insulin that is the insulin that keeps you "flat" between hours.

Well, Christmas Eve's dinner did not go so badly to a light 185 that I corrected with 1ud.And I got up at 113. In the Christmas meal I went to 182, I went for the dog and went down without clicking, at 2 hours I returned to 180 and went down again with 1 units.I got up at 113. But with yesterday's food (which here in Catalonia is celebrated on 26 too) I do not know if I trusted, but it was a mountain ... almost at 2h.I went down, I traced with chocolate nougat, at 3h.I started climbing .... 183, I put on 1ud., He went down and climbed again, like this up to 4 times I injected 4.5ud in total, I went down and came up again .... I got up in 154 and IHas a trip to 183 now hit ... Anyway ... that I think I am still paying the food yesterday .... that I attribute it to the fat of the prawns?The pate?cheese?
What mentally compensates?Well no ... because for dessert I am becoming a specialist in clicking on capilla3 delicious gutters ... mmmm ... Everything was worth it, I enjoyed food as a dwarf so they take off it and I'll make myself more restrained at the end of the year and new year ... at least I will try ....: d

@Cassie, with the holidays relax a little, if you have not gone from 180 you made it phenomenal.You also have to live, and calm.

@Cassie has gone great !!!!I cannot complain if it were not for the Panettone that goes up like the foam and costs horrors to lower it.
Now the worst are the dizziness ... when something is fixed, it spoils me another part :)

Hahaha you are all the same these days, trying to control everything possible.I can not complain either, on Christmas Eve I did not get out of 129. I only put insulin (3 Fiasp units) with desserts, and it seems that the thing went well.

Eye with the nougat “without sugar“ some have more hydrates than their normal version, I look for them with black chocolate and it is very good.For the rest my tactic is to use micro bowling in the purest insulin pump style

True @Speedy1967 I take the normal ones of the hard and soft, the "without sugar" have more hydrates.

I have tried the "sugarless" ... and decided not to take them, it seemed to me that the sugar substitutes they add are much worse than the original, so, always as normal, that they are also better!

What I do is control glucose with more insulin (if necessary).

Always at parties and when I gave me the sweet vein to lemon donuts, pestiños, empanadillas and several more sweets of these parties especially.
Although since officially I am DM1, I had not made any type of homemade sweets, which people who know me miss me ,,,,,
He also cooked much more, but the rice and the pasta was measured with an eye, or glucose peak to the song.
I know that I have spent a couple of days, but curiously the day that gave me a good glucose climb was a day that ate pasta in an Italian ....
