Hi @daniela, I've been disconnected from the forum for a long time and I don't know when your message is.I hope you do better.I would like to contribute my sand granite to help you.I think you have two open fronts: anxiety and sweet.I think, as you have advised, that there are many types of treatments that can help you with anxiety.Regarding the sweet, my advice is that you leave it: sugar is very addictive, much more than we think.I was a person who worshiped the sweet and although I never abused my palate was too accustomed to that flavor. When I decided to change diet, I also decided to abandon all the sugar (I even speak to you of sweeteners). It was not easy for me, but I think I've achieved it ... I enjoyed a 100% sugar -free black chocolate on Friday! They tell me a few years ago and I don't believe it.The sweet asks for sweeter and does not contribute anything.I encourage you to try;) A lot of encouragement also with the problem of anxiety, it is something very difficult to manage but I am sure that with adequate help you will get it :)

@"Daniela" I think you should try to look for some techniques or ways to control that anxiety. To how much I do is simply not to think about it and dedicate myself to something else, without giving him many turns in my head.

Insulins do not generate anxiety, it is a psychological disease.
I have only had an anxiety for isolation in a hospital, and now with confinement I am taking it well with routine and exercise at home.

@isa2020, I think it could be removed knowing that it can eat it if it is controlled quickly.
But, if you eat continuously, you may have to treat it a psychiatrist with medication to reduce that anxiety.

Good!I present myself, I am Julia, I am 31 years old, I have been with type 1 diabetes for 10 years and I have decided to write because I have felt identified with many comments that have been exposed here.

I perfectly understand that anxiety and I have managed to overcome it, although sometimes there are slight relapses I no longer enter that vicious circle that was impossible to leave.

Although now he regrets me, I have been engaged to those bingers for many years and I had the weight gain when I wanted to take care of myself. It was frustrating to start a healthy diet, exercise and gain weight for minutes and so I felt, swollen, fat, bad.

I have never had overweight, but I liked to be thin and know that eating sweets without enough insulin was going to get it was the less tempting.

In the end I decided and not long ago that I had to change, for my health, because it seems selfish to the person with whom you share your life since you can do a lot of harm, I also want to be a mother ... Anyway, Iroller.

Although I have increased weight, I have managed to overcome anxiety (withdrawal syndrome in my case) exercising (progressively, without putting too high objectives at the beginning) and eating few hydrates (they get a lot of fat and helps me with the glucose levels abarbarity). The first 2 weeks are the hardest, just like when you take off smoking (it resembles a lot, I have also lived).

More tips:

To face this, it is important to make a healthy food purchase and with a full stomach, the pastry of the super are very attractive ... not having things at home is easier, therefore avoid buying "this in case it gives me a downturn"(You are not going to take it when you give yourself a downturn), if you cannot control this, ask someone to make the purchase.

Those first 2 weeks, also try not to leave much, not to socialize too much, stay at home, because you are very subject to any temptation.Little by little you are doing strong ... Be patient, the first days I dreamed with sweets and binge ...

Another important thing, if one day you fall, you take some candy that you should not, try to control and not follow, it is very easy to think about "finishing off the task."This does not mean that you can never give yourself a "caprichito", but when you are strong, when you no longer have anxiety and need for sweet.

When you overcome those 2 hard weeks without taking anything improper, you can be very proud, it may be the toughest phase.

Take advantage of this era of confinement, it is easier, or less hard, because we sociabilize less, we have more difficulty going out to buy some craving and more time to exercise.

Much encouragement to anyone who is going through this, I keep fighting!

Hi Daniela how you are, I do not know what you speak because I debuted very small and always learned what I have to eat.Anyway, how do you tell him that you have already associated the sweet as a soothing of your emotional stress or anxiety. Stir of everything we have written and think about this in a way I don't care much about your diet but I am writing this to help you. What do you get doing the opposite of what you are forced to be, to deceive yourself. Complicated disease I am anxious to eat for always memory to a very fat hypoglycemia and eat without chewing so that that feeling is passed as soon as possible. If I carry the normal glucose as normal, everything is very slowly hurried to eat without chewing engulfs then I think I never calm the satiety.Try a thing, cut pieces of fruit and every time you feel like a sweet piece of apple another orange chore. When I am going to give a talk about diabetes I talk a lot about smoking I say that tobacco monkey lasts 15 exact days and there are people who tell you a month 6 others that do not.I let you discuss for a while and tell them that is that you don't want to quit smoking.Greetings Daniela and encouragement.I do not see what a serious problem, greeting everyone.

I understand how you feel because before I started medicating I was with the Diabetes uncontrolled and the same thing happened to me.When I started and I had that it was very hard but believe that it is worth it, you will start feeling better, because although it seems that not having very high values it affects you very physically. The trick for myYou try because I really think it helps.Another thing is that, if you can't avoid it, tell what you are eating and when you finish whatever it is.From what you have said of cookies and such the flour will take a bit to get on what is later better than ever, you do not pass, but do not make the madness with your health either because you may not realize but have havingThe high blood glucose makes you want to eat more and although I imagine that anxiety does not help me to have those cravings when it is wrong and I do not suffer from anxiety so I do not want to imagine how you will be.
Well, to summarize, try to change your diet as much as possible and in the event that one day you lose insulin pilling control when you finish (or if possible before starting) to avoid the worst, much mood on my part and I hope you findA way of being well not yet anxiety, strength.
