Diabetic retinopathy

Intruda, have you treated you with laser? From what they told me you had to be more careful in pregnancy with the glycemia when they had treated you laser, but well you have to be careful, always. You will also have to be careful with the teeth, in pregnancy the gums are inflamed and there is risk.
I am 33 years old and my adolescence was not good with diabetes, it happened everything and as few are the consequences. It was because they told me that I had retinopathy, at 25, when I put on the batteries to get it well.
With patience and being optimistic everything is achieved.I will read you in the "pregnant" thread, it helped me much before and during pregnancy.

Intruda, I just read you in the other thread.Incipient retinopathy?I think it's the same as "not proliferative," right?
What you say that in the third trimester of pregnancy worsens retinopathy ... do not worry about it, that happens as long as glycemia are high not because of pregnancy itself. In the third trimester, what happens is that insulin needs increase a lot and you have to be in the parrot to get the doses almost day to day and avoid being high.I remember that I started the pregnancy by putting 14 units of Lantus and I finished it with 36, and quickly at breakfast I started with 6 fast and ended with 20 !!!!!

They have never treated me ... I guess I will not be so bad ...
I don't know if it's the same, I guess yes, no?I am full of assumptions hehehe
The third trimester, more than anything, told me the endocrine that fit the possibility that with the efforts and above all with childbirth, if it was natural, that some can be burst from the eye, but that later could be given laser without problems...
What a difference in insulin, right? After giving birth, have you returned to your normal doses?
Let's see if I take time and read the thread from the embrament from top to bottom, that I read the beginning and then went to the last pages hehehe thanks for the spirits and advice!;-)

ha ha ha.If a hem low means more hypoglycemia, it does not compensate ... in fact hemoglobins lows relations with greater mortality.Come on, if you get a 5 stable hem, guay !!!But if that are several hypos a day ... bad

I ended up to the noses of pregnancy, the first quarter seemed that it was drunk, horrible, a hiccup behind another.I prefer a hem of 6.5 and not find me so bad.The bad that at the time one relaxes, are easy to see 200 and a lot

Hello,

I've been a peelenadome 4 months with a retinopathy spill ...

First I got a blurred point .., they treated me and gave me laser ..

It was supposedly everything already closed and well, and that it made normal life ... but at 2 months it has come out again, but more ... before it was a point that I saw blurred, now if I close the other eye I see everything blurred, ... so much that if you put a person in front I do not distinguish it .. I only see that there is someone there ..

And that is when I really scared after many years almost without controlling anything ..
So now I am every bit measuring the sugar ... I do not need to wear any strict or anything ... but I am scared with the eye ..

Tomorrow I have to return to the oculista, he told me to take some pills (varied) and that he returned in 15 days .. but I keep watching him just as blurred, so to see what happens ..

Hello, I am Paul I suffer from proliferative diabetic retinopathy from 2 years.I was diagnosed, I submitted to the treatment that I recommend the retinology of a very famous hospital of Tijuana B.c this treatment only leaves me are money and without work I would like someone to have an experience similar to mine will tell me or if you save any treatmentThat is effective for detachment.Of my retinas I almost don't see and I am almost in ruin I will tell you my situation.
Ase 2 years.Without any symptom I went to see the ophthalmologist and to my surprise I described my bad proliferative diabetic retinopathy.A cost of 400 dlls each and the next apply Lacer in both eyes and the third apply cilicones to hit my retinas, since the injections put my sight in the cloud as if suddenly I have a savannah in my eyes and thenAs a fault, the treatment is my vision, it is only to see white I feel like used only to fatten the portfolio of those doctors because every time they see me they want to wear 500 dlls but as I no longer have money or work that even does it to take hand whyFriends no longer exist, if someone save from any treatment to the gun treatment to recover my view I would appreciate them thank you very much

In my modest opinion, with a hem of 5 and something, it is not to fear damage.I only recommend that you check if when you look to the sides you see as a type of flash. If so, running to ophthalmology urgencies, because black spots and flashes are the clear symptom of a retinal tear, which if it is not sealed with laser can end in a detachment that would demand operation.

Hello.I have only been evolving in diabetes for only year and I have no retinopathies (and last), but my mother did have them to the point of becoming almost blind (I saw buckets and blurred shadows). He knew us for voice and intuition.Everything began seeing some spots that seemed mosquitoes floating.Sometimes it was put as if it were a fog that covered the eye (this was when they gave it as spills (sorry I buefor the drops that dilated the pupils and. The sparkle of the.It is very important to be treated on time).new eye. This happened about 35 years ago (already has 25 dead) and that things have evolved a lot and better (she would be very happy with progress).Heaven, take care of your sight and do not let them leave you so much time without making an eye background (they have many, you just a couple), kisses everyone.

that envy hemo below 6! In case someone serves me they diagnosed me some 3 years, they treated me with laser with 6 sessions, alternating every 2 weeks, basically first they dilate you and add a few anesthetical drops and then ...Paium paium to shoot you, it is not painful but a bit uncomfortable, then you feel a slight headache that you can mitigate with paracetamol, after one year they had to give me another session, and to date phenomenal, summarizing a background is highly recommendedAnnual eyes and good control when you can, help!

Good evening, I have diagnosed a mild diabetic retinopathy (in the background two small spots are seen) and the world came to me, after 22 years with this ... it is true that my we have not been theBetter (between 8/9) but now that I was getting a hemo of 6 give me this news ...

Although my mother did not trust the SS because they told me that I had it in the right eye and then on the left (?) In addition, the SS doctor told me that it could have damage to the kidney or liver but the kidney analyticsand liver were fine.

So on the 26th of this month I will go to a specialist to see what they tell me ... all I do is cry although this happens to me not to be careful ... but I know people we have 15!And they have nothing ... or I don't understand or have very bad luck ...

@Arikasplay, the important thing is that you are careful now.A mild retinopathy will treat you and if you keep trying to control glycemia (we all have seasons in which you are worth nothing: s) it does not have to go more.Cheer up!!
