Around 300 people have participated this Sunday morning in the XIII March for Diabetes, an initiative of the Valladolid Diabetics Association that aims to raise awareness among the importance of the importance of prevention of this metabolic disease,which affects a growing number of people.A disease that has the addition that its symptoms are not easily detectable, which can derive, in case of neglecting care, in severe chronic complications.

The march has left from the Plaza de San Andrés, a few meters from the headquarters of the Association, and has ended in the Ribera Park in Castilla, where the walks have received a snack to replenish both forces and carbohydrates consumed in thehike.One of the peculiarities of the march of this edition is that, to avoid discomfort to other citizens, it has been done in full on the sidewalks, thus avoiding cuts in streets that could affect traffic.
