Promote education in type 1 diabetes is to acquire the necessary knowledge to live free of complications, so the association has talks and workshops taught by specialists in nutrition, psychology and endocrinology.The program consists of sessions of every 15 days to share experiences and learn from health issues, this was announced by Rosangel Jaramillo.

After being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes to one of her children, the founder indicated that the association originated in 2010 as a support group, later when the members increased, it was formalized in 2014. Currently 80 families make up the agency.
The main objective for the association is to accompany families morally, "we know the doubts that a family can have and we understand that it is devastating news."
