The Diabetes Foundation grants its scholarships for summer camps

The Diabetes Foundation has awarded the Diabcamp scholarships-which will arrive in Castilla-La Mancha-for children and adolescents who suffer from summer camps organized by patient associations in order to learn to resolve to resolve them to resolve them to resolveautonomous form and help them assume their diabetes.

In these camps for diabetics, children learn to administer insulin, modify the doses and mixtures they must make based on their glycemic profile.In addition, they teach them the food they must carry, as well as to control their metabolism through physical exercise.The realization of all these activities in contact with others affected, encourages the normalization of the situation.

In this edition of the Diabcamp scholarships, financial aid will be distributed among families with less resources from Andalusia, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha, Asturias, Navarra, Basque Country, Galicia and the Canary Islands.In addition, it is expected that in the coming weeks, the number of scholarships can increase.
