Fadican: Run by diabetes

This Sunday is going to run through diabetes, a chronic disease that suffers from 15.6% of the Canaries of legal age, of which 6.8% ignores it, according to data from the Federation of Associations for the Canary Islands of the Canary Islands(Fadican).

The IV Popular Carrera de Taco is a call to all those who like to run and the solidarity people, since there are categories and tours for all ages.

The course of the race is the Avenida de los Majuelos, the crossing of the ascent to El Cardonal and the Municipal Park of the Andenes.In the Alevín category, the test will begin at 10:00 with a one -kilometer route;In children, it will be at 10:30 and will reach 3 kilometers;The senior will begin at 11:15 and will run to five kilometers, and that of veterans will have the same start time and identical route.

The price of registration ranges from two euros for Alevín and Infant to eight euros for senior and veterans.

Everything collected will go to the Tenerife Diabetes Association (ADT) and the Small Valient Association.

Both non -profit organizations help families of sick people in various ways.For example, the ADT performs education courses in diabetes in schools and among health professionals.
