Santa Ponça (Calvià) will host today a charity event, between 10 and 13.30, organized by an optics, in support of the United Kingdom Kidney Research Foundation.
In the act, the Calvià Lions Club will also collaborate, which will offer free evidence for the early detection of diabetes.
"Without the need for prior appointment, a qualified nurse will perform the test with a simple puncture on the finger to detect diabetes signs.
The results will be given immediately and, if positive, patients will be referred to a medical center, "said Spasover optics, through a press release.
Activities for children
During the day, there will be food for attendees, activities for children and sessions in which fashion stylists will offer tips on what type of mounts of glasses choose.
