The Association of Nenas and Nenas with Diabete de Galicia (Anedia) presented yesterday at the City Council of Pontevedra the program of events to commemorate World Diabetes Day, which is celebrated on November 14.

The vice president of the collective, Silvia Puga, influenced that there will be six days of activities in which the three basic pillars will be touched in the care of this chronic disease, type 1 diabetes: exercise, food and medication.

The public school canteens of Pontevedra and Vigo and part of those of A Coruña will analyze the food pyramid to know those who have carbohydrates.

After eating, they will make a blue circle with recycling material.The program also includes an expert informative talk, a playful act with the lighting of the Blue Concello facade, Friday;And the mile for diabetes, Saturday, at 5 pm.
