A.VI.A.DI: Río Negro is lucky to have an association (Argentina)

In Argentina, Río Negro has adopted a series of measures, in line with the objectives of the WHO World Action Plan on the UNC 2013-2020, to reduce the consequences of diabetes.

It is one of the provinces of the country that has raised the most on the subject.From the capital of the province and under the denomination of A.VI.A.DI (Viedmense Friends of the Diabetic Association) on February 27, 1999, a non -profit institution was established, aimed at raising awareness among the community and educating patientsand relatives about diabetes.

This social commitment is born from a group of people directly and indirectly affected by diabetes, establishing basic principles that value people for what they are and not for what they possess.There is no discrimination but a very strong conception about people's values.
