Vitoria-Gasteiz will walk this Sunday against diabetes

The Vital Foundation and the Association of Diabetics of Álava will commemorate World Diabetes Day with a march through the streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz this Sunday.Also on Monday there will be a conference.

On November 14, World Diabetes Day is celebrated worldwide, an appointment with which it is intended to increase global awareness about this disease.Matterned in 1991, this commemoration is a perfect opportunity to direct the public's attention towards the causes, symptoms, complications and treatment of this serious condition that is constantly increasing throughout the world.

The Vital Foundation, which has been collaborating with the Association of Diabetics of Álava for years, has joined this commemoration in which the central act will be the VIII walk through the diabetes that will be held on Sunday 13. Under the motto 'Move for diabetes', the group will leave at 12 noon from the Plaza de Correos.

From there he will leave for the Prado Park through the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, the Plaza General Loma, the Florida Park, the Paseo de la Senda, the Paseo Fray Francisco and the Prado Park where they will turn around.There they will distribute the participants' tickets that, once back in the Piece de Correos, will serve them for the collection of a gift.The initiative aims to remember the importance of performing physical activity on a regular basis to prevent disease.
