The consultations will be held daily from Monday to Friday from 8 to 12 in the morning, at the facilities of the Intelligent Universal Radio Building, said the director of the Center, Santiago Ramírez Díaz Torre.
He also added that this campaign is for patients with diabetes to realize whether they are with the necessary controls so that they do not have the risk of suffering: amputations, cerebral or cardiovascular infarctions, to be oriented by a specialist for free for 34 years with revisions every 3 months.
The specialist announced that of the total of people who are diabetic, most are uncontrolled which brings severe consequences in the body, so the campaign is not to detect people who suffer from the disease but to those who have had complications andGive them a better life expectancy.
For example, people who have had a complication of the disease maintain the possibility that for the second time they are presented with a heart attack or amputation.So the idea is that anyone who wants to know whether or not controlled knows and knows what indications do.
In that sense, patients who will receive this care will be selected by a doctor, detection and consultations that will be given will be free and in that sense determine who need more help.
