Sanofi organizes workshop in 'Diabetes Experience Day' with the educational project 'Diguan'

Sanofi organizes, on February 18, a workshop in the IV edition of 'Diabetes Experience Day' with the educational project 'Diguan' where around 200 children with diabetes can prepare their own superhero costumes.

In this edition, different presentations and activities have been organized under the general motto of 'New Times for Diabetes', including a section dedicated to adolescents since they enter a complex stage in terms of diabetes management.

For this reason, the 'Emotional Health Workshop Diguan' will be taught, in which a psychologist and a diabetes educator will make them reflect on the emotions generated by diabetes in the relationship with parents.

In addition, the appointment will serve to present 'diabeting', a mobile application developed to motivate patients with type 2 diabetes in the performance of physical exercises prescribed by health professionals.This tool, developed by 'social diabetes' with the sponsorship of Sanofi, aims to guide the medical prescription of personalized exercises for each patient, and facilitate people with diabetes an improvement in their control.

The application, available in 'Google Play', combines aerobic exercises, such as walking, bicycle or swimming, with others focused on muscle strength and whose objective is to maintain a good state of form and avoid possible injuries.
