New talk about diabetes in Viedma

The Viedmense Friends of the Diabetic Association (Aviadi) will offer a workshop talk called "Personal motivations to attend an educational program in Diabetes".

The meeting will be held on Saturday 8, from 10, at the Ministry of Social Development of the Municipality of Viedma and will be in charge of Ms. Patricia García.

The talk is intended for patients, family and public in general, with free admission.

From the entity they indicated that it is very important to carry out talks for both the primary and secondary prevention of diabetes mellitus, and to improve the results of modern disease therapy.

Meetings with groups of patients and their relatives should be held, to achieve not only a good instruction on the disease, but also seeking to achieve an exchange of experiences between them, to improve global compliance with treatment.

It is demonstrated that encouraging and grouping patients with instructional talks, and in a periodic way, motivates them and causes them to maintain a greater commitment to control their diabetes.
