This Tuesday it was developed in the building that the Training Institute of the Public Health Union of the Province (SSP) has in La Plata, the opening of the “Training Course in Diabetes for Nurses and Nursing Students”, which is organized by thementioned union entity, the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health, the XI Sanitary Region and the XI Sanitary Region, an initial day in which the doctors Hugo Delle Donne, Cecilia Larrañaga, Juan Corbalán and Raúl Tamis spent before present.
When talking, Delle Donne explained how the problem of diabetes is covered taking into account the increase in incidence worldwide, and emphasized prevention and awareness, in order to avoid the complications of this disease, such as for exampleThe diabetic foot, diabetic retinopathy and vascular accident (stroke), among others.
For his part, the secretary general of the SSP, Miguel Zubieta, said that the entity heading “permanently bets on the training of health partners, as the best tool for the indicated care of patients and even each family”,while noting that it is "an aid for disease prevention and more in the case of such a silent, such as diabetes."
The Training Secretary of the Union, Mr. Julio Reynoso, who welcomed and thanked the attendees, while valued the importance of the course for the capital city of the province of Buenos Aires.
