The work 'Population prevalence and by sex of chronic kidney disease and cardiovascular diseaseFamily at the IV National Days SEMERGEN DIABETES held in Cáceres.
As reported by the Ministry of Health, this communication is part of the Simetap study, a project that emerged from the Lipid and Cardiovascular Prevention of the Pinto University Health Center, which has a research group composed of 120 family medical researchers from 64 centersHealth of the Community of Madrid.
The study will show in the next publications what are the population prevalence in the Community of Madrid of all the modifiers and cardiovascular risk factors, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, chronic renal disease, and cardiovascular diseases.
The project, led by the doctor and director of the Pinto Health Center, Antonio Ruiz García, has recruited more than 6,630 citizens randomly selected from the listings Individual health card of users assigned to the researchers.
