The Tommi Association renal insufficiency and diabetes is requesting citizens with the donation of medication that can be useful to people suffering from diabetes, hypertension, renal evils and who lack the medical service.
César Ibarra Moreno, president of this association said that the main medications requested are insulin, erythropoietin, glibenclamide, captopril, adalat, metformin, and janubia, mainly.
“Some medications are expensive and are only handled in medical security centers such as IMSS and ISSSTE, so we ask people who have articles or medications for the treatment of hypertension or diabetes that do not use, they can donate them to the association forThus keep supporting those who have less, ”he said.
Similarly, he said invited people to perform free urine exams to detect in time if they have glucose or protein to avoid kidney diseases.
“We also have available to people of limited resources 10 wheelchairs that we provide so that they can use them or in their case, this for free, since we know the high cost of the devices, we also support with diapers, material for material forDialysis and medication, ”he said.
Ibarra Moreno, added that people who wish to donate any of these medications can go to the offices of this association located in La República 66, Colonia Infonavit between Private B6 and Private B7, at a time of 9:00 in the morning to1:00 in the afternoon.
