Aviadi will offer a new talk at the human development headquarters of the municipality of Viedma

"General in the treatment of diabetes" will be the issue of the talk that will be offered on Saturday, starting at 10, in the Ministry of Human Development of the Municipality of Viedma, located in Alvaro Barros 1,508.

The organization is in charge of the Viedmense Friends of the Diabetic Association (A.VI.A.DI), within the framework of the Community Educational Program in Diabetes 2017, and will be in charge of Dr. Marco Tripodi.

Diabetes is a chronic disease that is characterized by increased levels of blood sugar (glycemia).A chronic disease is one that is not cured but with adequate monitoring and treatment the person with diabetes can prevent complications and lead a normal life.It is estimated that diabetes affects more than 3,000,000 people in our country and since for several years it remains silent, approximately half of those who suffer from it, do not know their condition.

Diabetes can occur for several years silently.This means that sometimes it does not present symptoms, but over time they can appear: increased thirst, weight loss, increase in appetite, increased production of urine and dry mouth.From the entity it is recommended that given the appearance of these symptoms it is important to perform medical control.

The talk-workshop is intended for patients, family and general public, with free admission.
