Herrera for the prevention of diabetes

A day entitled "Herrera walking through diabetes", was held yesterday at the local music palace.It was intended to sensitize the population about the prevention of diseases such as diabetes.This prevention should be done through healthy lifestyle habits.

Day Herrera_Diabetesla Day was presented by the Manager of the Health Management Area of ​​Osuna, Francisca Díaz Alcaide.He was accompanied by the mayor, Jorge Muriel.Then, an integral approach to prevention was carried out.He was in charge of health professionals specialized in this disease.All of them, medical and nursing professionals of the Sierra Sur Sevillana and the Osuna Hospital.

After a healthy breakfast, a second table was developed, where experiences were presented.Thus, Diabetological Health experts were accompanied by expert patients.Thus, they transferred their personal experiences to the population in approaching their illness.

To finish the day, the recognitions of the march "one million steps for diabetes" were delivered.This march, in which more than 600 neighbors participated, was held on May 10.With it they raised about the need for physical exercise as healthy activity.

It passed between the Municipal Pavilion and the Plaza del Mayor Manuel Vázquez.The challenge marked, one million steps, implies social participation.It is so because it is encouraged to walk in groups and, through a pomometer, count the steps that take place between all.
