The important thing is to have a good doctor

When I read some post I realize how lucky that I have been in question to my diabetes formation, because it is crucial to have a good doctor from the beginning, because you do not know how to control you is crucial in this disease.

Crossing with a doctor who understands the disease that you give you good advice, to explain the rations, advances, is really very important.

Regardless of whether you have been diabetic for years without a good initial base, it is impossible to take it well, because no one is born.

After reading some post I want to greatly thank the doctors who have taken me, specialists from the good ones, who have managed to treat my illness at every moment of life, who have caused me to carry my illness with some naturalness and with good values.

A pity that not all doctors have that training, and sometimes give such unfortunate advice.A pity because they make the lives of those more unbearable and sadder people.

And I thank that for these people today are the forums and means of informing good and reliable.

If I don't tell you, I revive: & GT;-

I have not been lucky that you have had.The doctor I have is not bad, but ten minutes of consultation every three or four months does not give much.I can't change since it is only this.Nor have I had an educator so I have learned everything or almost everything alone.I entered this forum about nine years ago (I don't remember dates) and learned a lot.I can thank the forum.Thank you.

A good doctor?I thought it only passed in the movies.

My last endocrine was looking on the Internet for 15 minutes because I didn't know that it was regular insulin (the normal). The previous one directly told me that there were too many insulins in the market, that the insulin reference number that I would like to recipe me.

And these have been the best, the others refused to prescribe the new insulinAnd all they did was liarte and spoil the guidelines.

En 1922 descubrieron la insulina, en 1930 la insulina lenta. ¿Que c*** han hecho desde entonces?

It is very sad that there are no doctors really trained in a field that collects so many people with the same problem.

It is for you to say the name and surname of that "eminence" so that whoever runs the risk of falling into their claws fled as soon as their name.I cannot believe that I do not know the insulins and that they leave all decisions in your hands

Fortunately I have a very good endocrine that is also diabetic

Well, I remember his name, but for me it was the best, he was a very older man than although he did not know the new insulins, he was the only one who openly recognized that diabetics we know more than doctors and endocrine in managing our disease and in theNews that come out, that attitude, coming from arrogant endocrine and hospital controllers, was a tremendous relief.

He was also the only one who wet and immediately played me a role to give me more strips than the 3 recommended by the Generalitat to type1.And I have insistently asked everyone.

Thanks to this role I have been in these last 15 years with 4 or 5 strips a day, instead of 3, which is what all other endocrine as parrots repeat me, which is what is established in Catalonia.

A pediatrician tpcCa when my daughter debuted, who made me end up in the psychiatrist for everything she told me.Thanks to a forum like this. And to his experiences, I went ahead. That's why I like to help.
@Sherpa41, only three strips ??Here they have three boxes, but with Endo report they give four. With three strips there is no one to control this.

Hija de 35 años , diabética desde los 5. Glico: normalmente de 6 , pero 6,7 la última ( 6,2 marcaba el Free)
Fiasp: 4- 4- 3 Toujeo: 20

I also, when they forced me to attend a talk-conference in the hospital.I depressed a lot and spent weeks without diet, eating pastries for the depression of the panorama so sad and bleak that they painted us.Everything were things that I already knew, but seeing photos, drawings, or that they tell you with viciousness and detail all the problems you can be because of this disease in one or two hours ... it was very traumatic. And I also went to the psychologist.

And yes, with 3 or 4 strips a day you can't control anything well. That is why I have been spending a fortune on strips, about 200 euros a month or so, until thanks to the blessed internet I found them so cheap that it is almost not worth wasting time, going to endocrine to see ifThey can give some more.

Well, you want me to tell you, if those are the best, you have had a lot of bad luck.Good luck that you have had an initiative and with the help of the Internet and especially a forum like this one you have thrown forward and you are almost "self -sufficient."

3 or 4 daily strips if you want to control well and do not have free or dexcom they seem few strips.
