Hello, very good afternoon, I wanted to introduce myself here in this forum, I am new and I am taking a look since I have enough doubts.
I tell you a little as it has been:
More than 5 years ago, about February 2011, I was opposing for Local Police, and I went to my GP to make me a routine analytics, since with 22 years and I had not done any.
After the days I went to pick it up and they found that I had the sugar a little high, about 130, so they repeated the analytics and again the same, so they sent me for the endocrine specialist.
They tested me and saw that it would be diabetes of type 1, but that it could be that I was just debuting since the HG was in 4.7.
Well, it has been these last 5 years of my life, taking care and making blood controls every 6 months until in the latter of June the HG has shot up to 8.9 ...
On Tuesday I went to a private endocrine, and as he tells me it is the first time that he saw, since in adolescents the honeymoon does not extend more than a few months, and when I told him that he had not believed it for 5 yearsha ha ha
Total, which I have been with the Tresiba for two days, I put it in the morning before going to work, initially with very few units and I will rise progressively until I see that my glucose is maintained, since the endocrine believes that with thisSlow insulin and the rapid only at meals that will make great intakes of hydrates can go quite well and not have to be clicking so much.
I have been clicking insulin for only 2 days, but the truth is that I carry it quite well, I believed that I was going to hurt much more and that I would not be able to put it on me alone.I have to say that I have not yet had great sugar climbs (I have never gone from 360) or any descent, which is what I am afraid ... although I always have some sugar on top.
Finally, also say that I wear the freestylelibre sensor, I don't know if any more of you use it.
Little more, I will write around here, I feel the toocco and I wait for your answers.

Welcome @Miguevik!I debuted through the big door in January 2001 (I know that many people bother the word debut, to me no) and I became a honeymoon about 10 years in which although it was slow and progressively needing more insulin, I hadGood controls with hardly any effort

I use free since it began to be sold in Spain, if you have any questions there is a thread about this meter.Any questions expose it there

Cheer up!!!

If you take it to a beam and take care of yourself, you can extend a lot to see if you are lucky
