40 diabetic children will be able to participate in Adiba's summer camps

Forty children between 7 and 16 years of age can participate as of July 11 of the Adiba camps.This year, two are organized;One in Palma for boys between 7 and 12 years old, and another in Ibiza, for children from 12 to 16.

The association organizes these summer colonies 36 years ago;An alternative for children, but also for parents.Specific camps for children with diabetes, which day by day, have to live with their illness.

The objective, according to the president of the entity, Manuela de la Vega is to "improve knowledge about her illness", and above all, to share "experiences", and that children "know each other," he says.

A dozen professionals take care of these children.There are monitors, psychologists, endocrine, pediatricians, nurses, and dietitians.In short, says De la Vega, "all guarantees" are offered, so that parents are calm.
