Diabetes and Psychology Workshop

The municipality, through the Ministry of Health, jointly conducted the Association of Support and Dissemination of Type 1 Diabetes in Villa María, the 1st Workshop on Diabetes and Psychology, aimed at relatives of patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes.
The activity (photo), in charge of the psychologists Laila Alcala and Victoria Becco, took place over the weekend in the Auditorium of the MedioTec and Municipal and Popular Library MarianThe diagnosis of diabetes in the patient's family group.
On the occasion, the Undersecretary of Municipal Health, Raquel Rodrigo, opened the talk highlighting the importance of working in a joint manner with different organizations and associations in the subject.At the same time, the official explained the value of deepening the analysis from different areas, this time from the psychological, in the diabetic patients of our city pointing out that "the diabetic should receive a totally comprehensive treatment."
The workshop had an instance of exposure, debate and anonymous surveys to the attendees who will be used as theme triggers to be treated by psychologists.
