The objective of this group will be to disseminate, raise awareness and help people suffering from this pathology.
A group of people from Coria has gathered to create the Cultural Association of People with Diabetes de Coria and Region.The objective of this group will be to disseminate, raise awareness and help people suffering from this pathology.
The Association will be tutoring by the Department of Youth of the City of Coria together with the Diabetological Education nurse of the Ciudad de Coria Hospital, María Immaculate Fernández Cabello to promote its continuity.
The temporary board of directors is made up of José García, as president;María Teresa Corcho, as vice president;María Teresa Alcoba, Secretariat;Noelia Aquilino, Treasurer, and María José Acosta, member.Those interested can go to the House of Culture or the Department of Youth, which is where the headquarters is located.
For his part, Álvaro Fernández Blanco, Councilor for Youth, transferred all his support and disposition for the collective, as well as, said he felt happy with the new creation of this association, “since it affects a group that unfortunately is on the rise", said.
