Ciudad Rodrigo signs an agreement with the Mirobrigense Association of Diabetes

The City Council of Ciudad Rodrigo wants to show its support and collaboration to the Mirobrigense Association of Diabetes, which is reflected with the signing of a collaboration agreement and the granting of a direct subsidy of 1,000 euros per year.

The City Council of Ciudad Rodrigo, through the Department of Social Services will subscribe with the Mirobrigense Association of Diabetes a collaboration agreement, for the realization of activities jointly.

Among the activities provided for in said agreement will be the organization and development of the race and healthy walk, a consolidated activity in the town, which shows the strength of the Mirobrigense Association of Diabetes and the great follow -up that it has in the municipality.

This association for years has been developing a very important work with the diabetic patients of Ciudad Rodrigo and Region, providing support to them and their relatives, informing about the disease, performing prevention and early detection tasks, with information campaigns,etcand aims to provide medical and psychological help to affected patients with diabetes and their relatives, carrying out support activities to this group and actions aimed at the awareness of society.

This agreement will enter into force on January 1, 2017, and will be valid for three years.
