Semergen and Fede promotes the improvement of visual attention in people with diabetes

For this they have launched “Look for your diabetes”, a visual health campaign and diabetes to which more than 1,000 optics have already adhered.

The General Council of Optics-Optometristas (CGCOO), the Visual Health Foundation (FUNSAVI), in collaboration with primary care doctors members of Semergen, and the Spanish Federation of Diabetes (FEDE), have launched the campaign ”Look for your diabetes ”, whose main objective is to promote better visual care for patients with diabetes in sanitary optics establishments.

José Luis Llisterri, the president of the Spanish Society of Primary Care Physicians also recalled that "early diagnosis and proper treatment can stop vision loss."
