Created the Friends of Diabetes del Arañuelo association

Recently, the Friends of Diabetes del Campo del Escañuelo association has been constituted in Navalmoral, with the aim of making this disease known to promote its early detection in adults and, especially, in children, according to the collective itself.

They also intend to disseminate existing knowledge about this "sweet disease" in order to make them known among those affected by this pathology.

In that sense, they remember that diabetes is a disease that affects millions of people in Spain, although only a small percentage knows that it suffers.

"It belongs to the group of so -called silent diseases, so it is important to know the main symptoms and, above all, the guidelines and behaviors that people who already suffer from it must follow."

The association, formed by people from different locations in the area, wants to make themselves known and increase the number of associates throughout the region.For this, they have proposed to hold talks, meetings and informative events in schools, institutes or centers of the elderly.
