The Astrazeneca Foundation will organize 'Cooking for diabetes' together with chef Ramón Freixa.

From Astrazeneca they explain that this menu will be composed of a first course, in which the salinity of the oysters and sweetness of mushrooms will be combined;a second, in which marine flavors and contrast with tila and aromatic herbs will be given way;And, finally, a dessert with which Freixa will demonstrate that taking chocolate is also possible if he is diabetic.

The specialist in endocrinology and nutrition and responsible for endocrinology at Moncloa University Hospital, Dr. Teresa Lajo, will participate together with Freixa in the 'show', explaining to patients the benefits of each of the ingredients that will be used in the menu.In addition, the doctor will give a nutrition workshop in which he will expose the guidelines to prepare a "rich and healthy" dish for diabetics, ending with two practical exercises among the participants, as explained by Astrazeneca.
