TIJUANA.- Requires General Hospital of Tijuana (HGT) specialized in the treatment of pediatric patients with type I diabetes and metabolic disorders, to ensure treatment and prevent more cases of this diseases.
Within the services of the hospital, there are currently 40 adolescents and children who have insulin treatment by type I diabetes, in addition to dozens of patients with metabolic disorders.
Dr. María Victoria García Noriega, a pediatrician of the HGT, explained that the clinic is necessary to offer specialized attention to infants and adolescents suffering from type I diabetes.
