The theoretical-practical course in Diabetes for Nursing "Educate to educate" will be held from April 8 to July 29 at the San José Hospital.Chale stressed that "by providing training tools for professionals, the care and quality of life of patients in Cañada de Gómez is being improved."

"Educating ourselves to educate" is a course aimed at graduates in nursing and university nurses and tertiary of institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education.The authors of this project are Lic. Daniela Bianchi, Dr. Edgardo Monsalvo, Lic. Cecilia Lutman, and Dr. Rubén Guercetti, professional in our city and specialist in Medical Clinic.

The Declaration of Municipal Interest was promoted by Councilor Matías Chale, who recalled that diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases in our country, affecting almost 10 % of the population, and about 387 million people worldwide, according to various statistics.

“Therapeutic education improves the adhesion of the patient to the therapeutic objective, resulting in a decrease in the economic costs of treatment and improvements in the quality of life.Diabetes management is in the hands of the person itself, and for this the patient must be informed, trained and motivated, ”argued the mayor of radicalism.
