Free Diabetological Education Workshops for IPS affiliates

With the aim of providing tools to know how to address the problem of diabetes, the Provincial Institute of Health of Salta (IPS) will again launch the diabetological education sizes, destined for affiliates to the DiabESSNOA Plan and their relatives.The dictation of the workshops will begin next Wednesday and will be held for six Wednesdays in a row.

The meeting point for these training workshops is the healthy life center, located on Adolfo Güemes 680 street from 16.30 to 18 hours.Those who want to be part of the workshops must register previously calling 437-3165 in the morning hours.

It should be remembered that the dictation of these workshops began to be held last year with very good acceptance of the public since around 50 IPS affiliates participated in the workshops and managed to improve their quality of life and positively impact on the quality of life of their families.That is why diabetological education is essential for the patient with diabetes to understand what happens in his body due to the disease and begin to act in search of achieving a better quality of life.

Throughout the different classes, attendees will learn about the functioning of the disease, how to face crisis situations, will receive cooking classes designed for diabetics, the importance of physical activity and the impact it has on the functioning oftheir body and can evacuate all their doubts and knock down myths associated with diabetes.
