Vélez-Málaga hosts the presentation of the association of people with diabetes of the axarchy

The Councilor for Health of the City Council of Vélez-Málaga, Juan Carlos Ruiz Pretel, and the president of the Vanesa Molina Association, have reported the different objectives in order to inform about the disease and promote related activities and days.

The Councilor for Health has commented that "from this government we support associations and entities that aim to promote healthy lifestyle habits and with the care and prevention of diseases, and in this case those people suffering from diabetes."

He also recalled that according to the data of the Federation of Spanish Diabetics "14 percent of the Spanish population suffers from this disease and that is why this association we present will have a very important role in awareness."

Molina has also specified that the projects and programs that the association will launch will be in the network, you really know ourselves in social networks, the creation of a training program called the School of Patients, to exchange information about theDisease through self -help forums, group and coexistence therapies.

'Diabetological Education' will also be launched to carry out training workshops for the management of hyper and hypoglycemia, food and healthy habits, as well as the program 'received after the debut' formed by Adiaxa's information and advice services in collaboration in collaborationwith the East health area of ​​Malaga Axarquía.
