The Borriquilla Brotherhood of El Padul collects funds for the Diabetes Zero Association

The municipality of El Padul has been supportive since time immemorial.He has always helped the most needy, even when there have been great land tremors inside and outside the Lecrín Valley region.Lately, in order to raise funds for the healing of diabetes, the so -called ‘goes for you II’ has been held with great success and, raising 1,000 euros for the Zero Diabetes Association.

The organizer of this interesting and applauded solidarity event has been the famous Brotherhood of the Borriquilla of El Padul, along with the masterful music band of the old women of El Padul, the excellent dance group 'Maroga' and the great group of women Bailaoras'Al Badul.Many people from inside and outside the Lecrín Valley attended this emotional act.And, among other things, there were throughout the day, tastings of a great rice and typical sweets that are delicious and very tasty accompanied by chocolate.In addition, the endearing and admirable writer, narrator and poet of Dúrcal, Fina López, delighted those present by reciting some of his great poems.

The Diabetes Zero Association is dedicated to supporting research groups that work in Spain to get the pancreas cells of so many people with this disease again to produce insulin, and thus avoid the constant daily problems caused by this silent and harmful diseaseFor those who suffer from it and their relatives.Once again, the Padul, with his town hall also collaborating and leading his shoulder, has been up to it, this time helping the Zero Diabetes Association.The Borriquilla Brotherhood of El Padul deserves to be applauded and rewarded because it also provides help to those who need it and this is very positive for society.
