Diabetes puts closure to the cycle "days with health"

Yesterday the cycle of conferences "days with health" ended that the Reina Sofía Hospital has organized to promote healthy lifestyle habits together with the Cordoba Federation of Neighborhood Associations (Fecorave).

Queen Sofía and Fecorave launched this initiative that seeks to improve the health of the population by making useful information about some of the most prevalent diseases.

During yesterday, specialists in endocrinology and nutrition of Queen Sofía Rafael Palomares and Paloma Moreno exposed the importance of diabetes, their classification, control, its consequences and the treatments currently existing.

Diabetes is a very common chronic disease that affects 13.8% of the population, although 6% are unrelated.
