An important professional will speak about diabetes

The Citizen Consciousness and Action Foundation (CYAC) continues with its cycle of talks and debates for the community.On this occasion the issue will be addressed: "What is happening with diabetes?"and the disserting professional will be Dr. José Manuel Retamosa.

The activity is completely free and will start at 20.30, at the Cultural Center of the Bicentennial.This was reported by Carlos Salmoiraghi, Dr. Cintia Brué Bucci and Ariel Dargoltz, members of Cyac, during a press conference.

In that context, they invited the families of people with diabetes to attend and witness the dissertation of the prestigious professional from Santiago, in order to dissipate doubts about the disease, to know the advances that are achieved and what are the habits of prevention and care, since it is a silent pathology that can appear at any time in life.

“We are going to point to health promotion and accentuate our advice on people becoming aware of acquiring healthy habits.They must want to be healthy and not seek remedy to the disease but to prevent before it appears, ”said Burbi Bucci.

“The professional in charge of the talk is one of the most important we have in our community, so we seemed essential to have his experience in a topic as important as this, which not only affects adults, but also many children”, Said Salmoiraghi.
