Roche Diabetes Care Spain, the Business Unit dedicated to Diabetes of the Roche Group in Spain, has created 50 jobs mainly to reinforce its center of Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona).

Speaking to EFE, the general director of Roche Diabetes Care Spain, Lisa Huse, explained that the center of Sant Cugat pays customer telephone attention to 15 countries in 11 languages ​​and also global support in the development of applications and digital services to theRoche Diabetes Care centers in more than 100 countries.

Roche Diabetes Care Spain gives work to about 200 people from 16 nationalities, of which some 160 work in Sant Cugat.

Of the 50 positions created by Roche Diabetes Care Spain, 35 and another 15 are about to do so, and Huse has specified that these new jobs are related to digital transformation.

Huse has also assured that, beyond this template increase, the multinational plans to increase its staff in Spain throughout this year, mainly in the areas of Information Technology and Digital Solutions.

Of the 200 people to whom Roche Diabetes Care Spain gives work, 60 % are related to international positions and 40 % with local functions.

Roche Diabetes Care Spain is focused on innovation in the field of management and treatment of chronic diseases, especially diabetes, aleoning that almost 6 million people suffer in Spain.

The company offers new solutions for the personalized management of diabetes, connecting patients, professionals and health managers, and also offers population planning and management services with diabetes for administrations.

Although Roche does not provide billing data corresponding to Spain, Huse has assured that the division "is meeting the" marked objectives.
