'Refriscate without sugar', a summer recipe contest for people with diabetes

Anyone who wants to participate can do so from this Monday and July 13, uploading their recipe to the Cookpad portal and meeting the requirements of the legal bases of the contest.The 30 best recipes will be included in a digital recipe book and among them a pack of materials will be raffled to facilitate the day to day in the kitchen.

On this occasion, the Cookpad nutritionist team will review the recipes and advise all the people who have doubts or who wish to participate in the contest 'Refriscate without sugar'.

In addition, they will be in continuous contact with the authors to evaluate the technical aspects of the dishes, as well as the proportions and rationing of carbohydrates by diner.

"It is very important for the proper hormonal and general functioning of the body, a correct and sufficient hydration in hot times. But it is equally important to offer attractive, tasty and healthy alternatives for people with diabetes," concluded Irene Guirao Sánchez, Cookpad nutritionist.
