New Diabetes Workshop

Professionals of the Community Team of Tres Lomas, carried out at the Community Integrative Center of the Ricardo Román Yani neighborhood a new monthly meeting of conversation with people with diabetes.

On this occasion the psychic effects of having to live with chronic disease and treatment were worked.The defensive mechanisms for resistance to changes in eating habits and physical activity were worked.Both necessary to be able to live healthy.

Experiences were also exchanged on how to relate to medication, with the measurement of insulin, which means always alert to glucose levels are in equilibrium.And also not to stop sharing and living with family, friends, co -workers, without feeling victims for not being able to eat what most eat.

The next meeting will be held on Monday, October 2, again at the facilities of the Community Integrative Center of the Ricardo Román Yani neighborhood.
