Ars Palic celebrates Race for Diabetes

Continuing with the plan to raise awareness about the impact of diabetes on the family, Ars Palic executives celebrated their third “Palic Protecto”, in the spaces of the Botanical Garden.

"Diabetes is a very common disease in our country, which is why we have as part of our prevention programs for detention projects against this problem and education about strict control for those who suffer from it," said DorisAlburquerque, Prevention and Promotion Manager of the insurer.

The consequences of this disease can be avoided or delayed with healthy eating habits, physical activity, medication and periodic exams to detect and treat their complications, the executive concluded.
