Good afternoon Chicxs!
Let's see if someone can guide me a little about my question because until day 8 I have no appointment with the endocrine and I am not sure what I should do.

I tell you.I always put it always at 9 pm.But tomorrow I start working from 17.30 to 21.30 therefore I don't know what to do about it.Should I respect the schedule and at 21 go to the bathroom to get the slow one (I put it in my thigh) or else I hope to get home (about 23)?I do not know what to do until I give me some guidelines the endocrine and the truth is that I do not want to get out of control or put any.

Thank you very much and forgive, but I do not know who to go since my header, in case I told me something, does not see me until March 9.

You can be delaying half an hour every day until you put it when you get home.
If they gave you hypos at night, it would be better to put it in the morning.
It can be put at the time that stabilizes you best.

Thanks @regina, I will.Today when the day ends at 21.30 I will go to the bathroom and put the lantus.Tomorrow I will do it at 22, last at 22.30 and by then at 23 that is when I get home, right?
To me the truth is that at night I do not go down unless the ratio betrayed me, so I usuallyI see the endocrine and adjust it to me.If in the minimum movement they already give me down and I must lower the slow or the super hypos come back!I have been going through a unit per day from Sunday as the specialist on the last visit told me since the work where I start is totally physical. When I go to consultation I must tell you to look again at the theme of the ratios, because I can spend a week that with a unit it is worth 2 portions and spend another week that for a miserable ration I must put on 1.5 and one no longer knows evenWhat to wear, damn doubts, 5 years and with these disruptions I am even more lost than a prawn in a desert.

Thanks for guiding me and especially for enduring me :)

We can't stand anything.Much encouragement, which is getting easier.
There are already better insulins and bombs.

Several health center nurses have asked me outraged that how it is possible that in my case they have not valued to put on a bomb, because fabric with my hypos, disruptions and such ... I want to comment to my endocrine, because for what they tell meIn my case it would be beneficial and I sincerely want to put it.But as everything depends on him ... let's see what he tells me.Come on, when I tell my episode, the tears will get alone and when I see my records I hope I give me the ok ...

Thank you very much Regina! How well feel to talk about these things with people who understand about the subject and who especially understand what is happening, and without having to wait for the visit of the specialist!

Thank you for guiding me and above all for enduring myself :)

Variability is something innate to diabetes. There are seasons in which more insulin is needed and others less but you should try to be autonomous to adjust your rapid insulin ratios, your sensitivity factor and your basal ones, depending on the activity, your need for insulin and your previous circumstances orimmediately later. If you always have to wait for the endocrine, you will never be able to be really autonomous with this disease, which demands a lot, a lot, of our constant participation and our decision making.Courage and here we are all to help and learn among all.

Hi JPR, I usually make the changes myself but there are times that when I try to be looked brown. In those moments is when I start with doubts, do I put 2?I put 3?Or better 4?I shot down and try, if I see that I get low in insulin up, and suddenly the dose was high. That's when I fear my fear (the hypos have given me very bad moves, like everyone else) and I look forward to the time vuele to see the endocrine and guide me a little or go to my header doctor,That also helps me a lot.I try to be autonomous, sometimes I am, sometimes not, and since they entered me in October due to hyperglycemia greater than 600 without infection, stress, etc., I am very lost. That's when I need a small help, because I really look at my records, meals, activities and nothing blocks the results.Only when I move a lot I know that my descents are because of it and I'm going down the slow one.But otherwise, it is costing me a little.

Thanks guys! Both for your spirits and for sharing your learning, which is very good for us;)

@Jpr, now that you comment.I have been thinking about how to calculate my ratios again, but since not as fixed rations I have no fixed doses of fast. How should I calculate it in this case?At 10 of Lantus which novorapid units should add? There, I am lost XD is one of the questions I have signed up to ask the endocrine

@"Caranchina" I When I was with Lantus, I put it in the middle of the afternoon to be possible about 6 pm but for work reasons, sports or any other reason I had to put it at 7 or 20 hours or advance it at 5 pm at 5 pmHe did not have much variability in glycemia and that Lantus has his crumb. Now with Toujeo and Tresiba that are more flat in principle there would be less problems in advancing or delaying a couple of hours .- But what I tell you, is my case, each is a world.-

@Sigsauer thank you very much for the information.Let's see what the endocrine tells me, if he sends me a bomb or changes me to the toujeo that my whole family uses it and has more margin :) I do see the lantus an hour I notice it ... that's why I always have the alarm to21 xD
