Twenty -one primary care doctors have graduated in Gijón in the master's degree in the management of the patient with type 2 diabetes of the University of Alcalá, which develops in collaboration with the Lilly company.
Since 2013, offering online and face -to -face modality, the Master has provided "skills and resources aimed at improving in the field of primary care the diagnosis and treatment of type 2 diabetes."
The formation also implies a singular training about the knowledge that the patient must have to promote responsibility in the daily control of his diabetes.
In total, the program has been completed by almost a thousand primary doctors throughout Spain.
