The Northern Health Area of ​​Malaga, together with the Andalusian Public Foundation for Malaga Research in Biomedicine and Health (FIMABIS), has organized the I Day of Innovation in the management of type 2 diabetes, in which some 50 professionals have participated.

The objective has been to improve and bring the incorporation of innovative approaches to diabetes to the most involved health professionals in its treatment, as reported by the Andalusian government delegation in Malaga.

Thus, the presentations have dealt with innovation in organizational designs for the approach in primary care, the use of information technologies (ICT) in the care of the disease and the integral operating plan of diabetes in the health area.
