Andalusia Pharmacy offices will be able to offer more global and higher quality assistance to diabetic people by the Diabetes Campus, an 'online' and free -use initiative carried out with the collaboration of Johnson & Amp; Johnson,that will allow community pharmacists to access continuous, updated and accredited training on diabetes, and thus agilely improve their knowledge and skills in the active approach of this chronic pathology, which only in the Andalusian autonomous community affects 15.3 percentof the population, above the national average (13.8%).
Thanks to the collaboration agreement signed by the Andalusian Council of Official Pharmaceutical Colleges (CACOF) and the aforementioned laboratory, Andalusian pharmacists will have the possibility of free access to the Campus Diabetes tool (accredited by the Professional Professional Training CommissionHealth), which consists of different training modules with content based on the latest scientific evidence about this disease and that have the endorsement of the SED Foundation of the Spanish Diabetes Society.
According to a statement, in a complementary way, and by virtue of this agreement signed between the Cacof and Johnson & Amp; Johnson, face -to -face sessions will be held soon in the different provincial schools in which training will be offered related to the approach of diabetes from the areas from the areas from the areas from the areasof pharmacotherapy, methods of control and promotion of health and use of new digital tools.
