Hello everyone, a few days ago they announced to Bombo and Surve the financing of free to all people with diabetes in Castilla La Mancha from January 2,020.A few days ago I went to the Medical Center that corresponds to me to ask for information on how they were doing, if it is prescribed by pharmacy, the center is given to you as it now with needles, strips etc, the answer by the doctor and the nurse is thatThey knew nothing about that issue, that they know that there is a sensor that is implanted in the arm and little more.I have been free with free and I was explaining the operation a little more. From here I would like to ask people from Castilla La Mancha how to get free or other people from other autonomous communities who already have it as they get it.
Thank you.

The specialist doctor tells you.The children already carry it.Now they have announced it for adults.I know people who are already asking your family doctor to quote with the endocrine to indicate the use of the sensor.
My daughter takes it.A box is given in the town office every 2 to 3 months with sensors, strips and needles for lancetas.

Indeed, free is already approved in Castilla-La Mancha for all patients with type 1 diabetes.
Now it is necessary to get the notice to all medical centers and coordinate.
How are they going to do it?As they want to do it in each province of Castilla-La Mancha.
Nor in the regional direction of the SESCAM they know how to do it.

Thank you for the answers, then if the SEMCAM does not know how to do it so that they say it, if they should be the first to know how to do it and not the politicians, but well, hope they do not take time to do so.

Hello!I had consult with my endocrine and told me that I was going to do the procedures to send it to me, that the company would contact me.But a month has passed and I still know nothing, neither Abbott nor from the hospital.Someone who takes them already knows how the subject is going and if it takes a long time to start receiving them?

@hcsara that I know the subsidized sensors have to give them to you in your health or hospital, nor abbott nor the hospital will send them home, call your hospital and talk to your nursing, if they have put you betweenThe patients who pay it will be your nursing or endocrin@ who has to give you sensors for 3 months, do not expect an Abbott call or send them home unless you live 200 kmts from your hospitalreference.-

@sigsauer I will call to make sure, but it doesn't seem so weird.I live more than 100 km from my hospital and the material for the bomb send it home every 3 months.I don't know if it will be different. In addition, what the endocrine told me, but I will find out in case.Thank you!

If you live at 100kmts it is possible but I understand that needle lancets, glucometer strips and others take them in the Hospital Truth ..?The fungibles for the bomb I think the laboratory is sent directly but the FREETYLE sensors have doubts, you will tell us, obviously if they send them home better than better.-

They could also give it to type 2. I have glucometer and strips to take more than a type of pastel that can produce hypos.Apart from meals and exercises.
I will ask the endocrine if there are exceptions.
