The president of the Mirobrigense Association of Diabetes, Carolina Paniagua Sánchez, will be part of the expedition of the Diabetescero Social Movement that will be received next Thursday, June 21 in the European Parliament.
This expedition will be made up of a total of 24 members of Diabetescero -Carolina Paniagua will represent the Mirobrigense delegation of this entity-, between fathers, mothers and scientists dedicated to biomedical research for the cure of diabetes disease.
This visit to the European Parliament is motivated by the initiative of the father of a child with type 1 diabetes that will bike the Barcelona town of Vilanova I the Geltrú with the European capital where the Parliament is, Brussels.
In the European Parliament, diabetescer members are expected to maintain a meeting with the General Directorate of the European Health Commission and with the Diabetes Group of Parliament.They will also intervene in a round table with Eurodiputados from different countries and political parties.
