Training workshops on active patient program diabetes

Osasun Eskola de Osakidetza has launched the training workshops on diabetes of the active patient program in the Integrated Health Organization (OSI) Alto Deba.

They are workshops aimed at people with any type of chronic disease and/or their main caregivers and caregivers, to offer them information and training in order to achieve a responsible and active attitude around their health and disease.

The Paziente Bizia-Paciento Active program is an self-care education program for people who suffer from chronic diseases or are responsible for their care, to know the disease, as well as those habits or behaviors that will make them achieve a better state of health.

The workshops will be taught in Bergara, Aretxabaleta and San Andrés.They will be developed in small groups and in participatory format.The approximate duration of the sessions will be 2 and a half hours, one day a week, for 7 or 8 weeks according to the workshop.

The Diabetes Workshop will be taught on October 1 in Bergara, at 4:00 p.m. at the outpatient, and the next day in the Arkupe culture room of Aretxabaleta with identical schedule.The generic workshop will take place on October 3, at 4:00 p.m., in the Etxaluze building in San Andrés de Arrasate.Those interested in participating in these courses can approach the outpatients to arrange an appointment.The squares are limited to 15 people.
