The mayor of Albacete, Manuel Serrano, and the Provincial Deputy of Health, Social Services and Equality, Nieves García, among other authorities, have attended the act held in the Plaza del Altozano to commemorate World Diabetes Day;Disease whose prevalence is increasing and has in sedentary women their main risk group, therefore, the importance of prevention and performing relevant blood glucose controls has been underlined.

In the act both political leaders have made visible the support that the Provincial Council offers to the Association of Diabetic Families (ASFADI), an entity that, in addition to the socio -sanitary aid offered by the provincial institution, this year has had the edition of a comicby the institution.
